Our Mission
At Beckett Hope Foundation, Inc. we strongly believe in each child’s unique aptitude despite the developmental or learning challenges he/she may face. We believe insurance companies should not play a role in dictating which child should succeed and which child should be left behind. We are dedicated to providing parents/guardians with quality care by seeking to guarantee that each child/family receives individually-based therapy regardless of ability to pay. Our goal is to see each child gain confidence and reach his/her highest potential after we remove the excessive financial burdens on families, largely created by our insurance system.
We believe at Beckett Hope Foundation, Inc. that all children have a fundamental right to therapy services and equipment for developmental progression of skills and the HOPE of independence in all areas of their lives. No parent or child should be denied coverage of therapy services or equipment by insurance when either prescribed by their physician and/or deemed beneficial by skilled medical therapists due to a lack of insurance coverage.
Responding to a Need!
Many common insurance policies held by families in the Bartlesville area do not cover developmental delays or learning disabilities, denying the right and the ability for a child to make progress in an area of need.
Parents who are paying for health insurance are denied coverage of benefits for their children to receive medically necessary services. These services would enhance the quality and independence of their communication, play, mobility, and social engagement with others their age.
Who Is Eligible?
Any individual who is under the age of 18
Who would have improved quality of life from treatment of occupational therapy, physical therapy or speech therapy
Who is NOT eligible for coverage under insurance
Who is a resident of the greater Bartlesville area
Who can demonstrate financial need
